Rocío Bernabé repesented the LTA project at the winter school for researchers that has been organised by UAB within the COST action LEAD-ME.

She talked about the participatory approach of the LTA project and the research methodology.

Respeaking and plain language: boosting accessibility

Dr. Carlo Eugeni and Rocío Bernabé were invited speakers at the Translation and Interpreting conference organised by the BDÜ in Bonn.

The use of plain language in respeaking is an innovative way to improve accessibility and support understandability. At the conference, LTA partners presented Intersteno research results in this field and the projects LTA and EASIT.

LTA at the Bologna Process Anniversary

25-27, June 2019.
We had the fantastic chance to represent Germany at the conference and share our experiences about how to foster accessibility through ERASMUS projects.

LTA at the Media For All 8 2019

The 8th Media for All conference – Complex Understandings was held on June 17–19, 2019 at the Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies at the Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism at Stockholm University.

Carlo Eugeni presented the LTA project in his presentation “Bridging the gap between training and profession in real-time intralingual subtitling” on Tuesday 18June.

Media For All is about creating and mediating understanding in an increasingly complex mediascape. Understanding not only of audio-visual content, but also understanding of and between producers, consumers and prosumers, understanding for the technical and cognitive processes involved, understanding for consumers’ needs and desires, and understanding of and for working conditions, among many other perspectives.

LTA at the New European Media NEM Summit 2019

The NEM Summit is an international conference and exhibition. Since 2008, the summit is organised by the NEM Initiative for all those interested in the broad area of media, content, and creativity. Over the years, the NEM Summit has grown to become an annual not-to-be-missed event, providing attendees with a key opportunity to meet and network with prominent stakeholders, access up-to-date information, discover latest technology and market trends, identify research and business opportunities, and find partners for upcoming EU-funded calls for projects. This year the summit took place in Zagreb on 22nd and 23rd May.

LTA had an active participation in the session dedicated to Media Accessibility on Thursday May 23rd. Rocío Bernabé, leader of the project from SDI Munich (Germany), presented the many funded EU projects focused on training under the ERASMUS+ action. She also presented LTA.



LTA presented at Global Accessibility Awareness Day2019

On May 16th, TransMedia Catalonia opened the doors of its laboratory to all to celebrate the Global Accessibility Awareness Day hosting a TransMedia Catalonia Open Day. One of the projects presented was LTA.
