Unit 3. IT competence

Unit 3 On completion of this unit, trainees will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to choose and use the most suitable hardware and software for respeaking and velotyping in each setting (TV, conferences, education, parliamentary assemblies and at workplace). They will know how to set up the working environment, putting together the needs of both the respeaker/velotypist and the users.

When should I start? LTA partners recommend trainers to teach this unit after Units 1 and 2 and to combine this unit with practical exercises from Units 5 and 6.

Unit 3 has been assigned 3 ECTS/ECVETS.
